At the WV Chamber Business Summit at the Greenbrier on September 1, 2022, President and CEO David Ramsey said Vandalia Health is now official. CAMC and Mon Health System have signed the final agreement to become one integrated delivery system after receiving approval from all necessary regulatory and government reviews and approvals.

Dave Ramsey made the announcement while speaking at the 2022 West Virginia Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Business Summit this morning at the Greenbrier Resort.

“Today is a special day in West Virginia. CAMC Health System and Mon Health System have become an integrated health system named Vandalia Health. Our decades of high-quality, nationally recognized programs and services are now united to continue our efforts to reduce costs, improve access and improve outcomes for the communities we serve. We will continue our legacy of renowned service and delivery of care as a collaborative care system,” said said David Ramsey, president and CEO of Vandalia Health.

“Today is a wonderful day for West Virginia and our organizations. Together, we can deliver enhanced care to a broader community than we could independently, comprised of the best providers, clinicians, and employees, all community-focused. that we serve one person at a time. Our cultures and mindset are so similar and underpinned by unparalleled local, regional and national care programs and services. I am honored to serve as President and Chief of Mon Health System and Executive Vice President of Vandalia Health,” said David Goldberg.

CAMC and Mon Health System both have community roots dating back 100 years.
