Valheim is about to sail on Xbox

Viking indie survival game Valheim will be released on Xbox consoles on March 14 and will be available on Xbox Game Pass.
Coffee Stain Publishing and Iron Gate revealed the release date during IGN Fanfest via a new trailer, showcasing Xbox gameplay footage.
Xbox players will be able to join over 10 million PC players from Valheim on their journey to conquer the dangers that await them in Viking purgatory. Valheim offers a mix of wonder and challenge, from slaying mythical creatures to crafting powerful weapons and armor, to building and strengthening your Viking settlement as you explore new lands,
Since launching in Early Access in 2021, Valheim has seen several minor updates, ranging from new dungeon instances to new enemies and items, and two major content updates. The first major update, titled Hearth & Home, expanded the building system and added dozens of new building pieces and decorations, as well as a major overhaul to the stamina and HP system.
Valheim’s second content update introduced a new endgame biome, the Mistlands. Shrouded in a thick layer of fog hiding deadly enemies and allies, Mistlands introduced a range of new weapons and crafting materials, a self-contained magic combat system, and a new biome boss and enemies to defeat.
When launching on March 14, Valheim will also feature a new controller layout to provide an intuitive and natural gaming experience for Xbox gamers.

Valheim will be released on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S as a preview game and will join Xbox Game Pass on March 14, 14. The game is currently available on Microsoft Store and PC Game Pass, and on Steam Early Access for PC and Linux.
