Arts Center Theatre, the expansion of the Marco Island Center for the Arts into the performing arts world, will present six award-winning theater productions in its first season at the theater located in the Marco Town Center.
“The community response and support for our five-play program and a musical has been outstanding,” said Hyla Crane, Executive Director of the Marco Island Center for the Arts and Arts Center Theatre. “Our subscription subscription sales have exceeded expectations.”
Neil Simon, Carol Burnett and Jeff Daniels are just a few of the iconic playwrights whose award-winning comedies will premiere this season starting in October along with the world’s longest-running musical, “The Fantasticks.”
The intimate Arts Center Theater, with only 83 seats, is the perfect place to see a first-class production in Southwest Florida.
The first production of the season, Apartment 3A, was written by entertainment legend Jeff Daniels and will be directed by local acting teacher Chris Dayett. Apartment 3A opens October 26 and ends November 13, 2022.
Other theatrical productions also on sale now include ‘The Fantasticks’, ‘The Odd Couple (female version)’, ‘Plaza Suite’, ‘Hollywood Arms’ and ‘The Foreigner’.
