Richards appointed Director of Behavioral Health and Wellness for West Fargo Schools – InForum

WEST FARGO — Annie Richards has accepted the position of the district’s first director of behavioral health and wellness.
Richards began her behavioral health career in 2012 with Solutions Behavioral Healthcare Professionals in Moorhead, Minnesota. While at Solutions, Richards served as Training Coordinator and Operations Manager. She moved to the Life Skills Transition Center as an Applied Behavior Analyst in 2018 before joining West Fargo Public Schools. She has served as District Behavior Coordinator since 2019. She has a Masters in Special Education from the University of North Dakota and a Bachelors in Psychology from Minnesota State University-Moorhead. She is also a board certified behavior analyst.
During her time at West Fargo Public Schools, Richards had a positive impact on the district by creating and then expanding the district-wide behavior team, enhancing supports for continuous improvement in schools high-needs district and implementing district-wide trainings, all with the goal of reorienting schools and district departments toward data-driven decision-making.
His experiences in behavioral health, from nonprofits to health care to government, and most recently, with West Fargo Public Schools, give him a unique perspective on how best to serve people. learners and educators in the district.
