Persona 5: The Phantom X Mobile Game Will Follow The New Band Of Phantom Thieves

The world of Persona 5 continues to expand, this time in the form of a mobile RPG called Persona 5: The Phantom X. SEGA recently revealed that the game is in the works for China at publisher Perfect World Games and developer Black Wings Game Studio, with a release date and other territories yet to be decided.

Persona 5: The Phantom X will be free-to-play with optional in-app purchases for iOS and Android devices, and a test is underway on PC and Android in China on March 29.
As for the story, this is an all-new Persona 5 game centered around a new group of Phantom Thieves and featuring a protagonist and main Persona designed by series artist Shigenori Soejima. SEGA and ATLUS’ P-Studio are providing the resources and overseeing development of the game, while Perfect World Games and Black Wings Game Studio will handle development, distribution and operation.
Release is currently only slated for China, so stay tuned for more updates as they are announced.
