Dear MBA students, graduates and professors,
Welcome to the fall semester of 2022. We hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing summer and stayed cool despite the heat. The campus is thriving again and we are ready to welcome you back. With a total of 187 students, the MBA program continues to be the largest on-site graduate program at the University of Nevada, Reno. We are grateful that this newsletter can focus on the achievements of the program.

Our family of alumni grew by 55 people last spring and summer. Congratulations to all of our MBA graduates from the University of Nevada, Reno. You have done an amazing job in these difficult times. Your courage, your determination and your resilience will take you far!
Welcome new MBA students!
Presenting the class profile, we are delighted to welcome 49 new MBA students to the program. The group has an average of four years of work experience to build on as they progress through the program, and six have already completed an advanced degree or obtained professional certification. We are also proud to welcome international students from Peru!
2022 Sontag Entrepreneurship Competition Winner
We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to our fellow MBA student, Perm Singh, the winner of this year’s Sontag Entrepreneurship Competition held in April. Perm won the $50,000 prize and the $10,000 Dragonfly Energy Innovation Prize for his company, U-Niq. We are so proud of all the finalists, especially our MBA students, and their innovative business ideas!
Nevada Global Business is back!
This summer, Nevada Global Business organized three trips to New York, Toronto and London. New York students were able to tour CBS studios with alumnus Nate Burleson. We are excited to have Nevada Global Business operational post-COVID!
