Launch of LG InstaView refrigerator with MoodUP lighting and Bluetooth speaker in Australia

LG has announced the InstaView refrigerator with MoodUP for Australia. The gadget is already on sale in South Korea, winning iF Design and Red Dot 2023 awards. This four-door fridge has a capacity of 829L, 485L for the fridge and 344L for the freezer, and top-class energy efficiency.
LG’s MoodUP brings color LED panels to fridge doors, letting you choose from over 190,000 color combinations via the LG ThinQ app. There are also preset colorways to choose from, designed by seven artists, and the color can be activated as you approach the door. Plus, the fridge has built-in Bluetooth speakers and the door-in-the-door InstaView lets you see the contents of your fridge without opening the door. Other features include an alarm if you leave a door open and the ability to control the fridge with voice commands.
The LG InstaView refrigerator with MoodUP will be showcased at Vivid Sydney in Australia from May 26 to June 17. The device is set to launch in Australia this summer, marking the first time the LG fridge has gone on sale outside of South Korea. It’s unclear how much the smart fridge will cost or when it might launch in other markets. For context, the InstaView fridge with MoodUP retails for KRW 6,327,000 (~US$4,773 or AU$7,326) in South Korea.
