‘Good Burger’ Sequel Arrives After Almost 26 Years

Soon, Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson will resume their work at Good Burger! A sequel to the classic feature, Good Burger, based on the recurring comedy series routine All That, has received official approval from Nickelodeon Studios and Paramount+, according to US-based media house Deadline.

Thompson and Mitchell are set to reprise their legendary roles as Dexter and Ed, respectively. According to Deadline, Dexter Reed (Thompson) and original cashier Ed (Mitchell) will be followed in the film as they reunite at the Good Burger fast food joint in the present day with a humorous new crew.

Deadline further reports that production will begin in May. The news was announced on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Dexter Reed struggles in “Good Burger 2” when another of his creations fails. Ed welcomes Dex to Good Burger with open arms and returns his old job. Dex creates a strategy to get back on his feet with a new team working at “Good Burger”, but unwittingly puts the restaurant’s future in jeopardy once again in the process.
